Ecological and human health risk aspects of burning arsenic-rich coal

Abstract

Ecological aspects of burning arsenic-rich coal as well as health related risks, specifically incidence of non-melanoma skin malignancies, were followed for 25 years in central Slovakia. Results confirmed significant correlation between arsenic emision rate and incidence of the cancer followed.
