Abstract
Biochemistry is rapidly developing field. Pocket Atlas is trying to explain it in pictorial form.
Fundamentals of biochemistry are discussed and illustrated with color pictures. The emphasis is put on the graphical representation - texts used mainly as an extension and complement to the images.
The exact separation of biochemistry from related disciplines such as cell biology, anatomy, physiology, genetics and pharmacology, is difficult, often impossible. The overlap in these areas is therefore not accidental.
Object of interest is often the same and differ only in the angle of view each specific field. In this sense, the pocket atlas of biochemistry topped with other pocket atlases.
