The use of biosimilars in hematology

Publication at First Faculty of Medicine |

Abstract

Biological drugs are different from other drugs by complexity of their molecules. They can be prepared by chemical way.

They are synthesized by the production organism in which the gene is injected. The advantage of biologic drugs is selective action on specific receptors, enzymes or cellular structure.

Analogues to original drugs are called biosimilars.
