Abstract

We report a case of polysomnographically documented severe sleep-related movement disorder, including RLS, PLMS, and complex motor activity, induced by sertraline therapy. Case describes a 47-year-old male with an 8-year history of mild depression visited the Sleep outpatient clinic because of restless sleep.

He had been taking sertraline 50 mg daily for five years with actual Beck Depression Inventory score of 5.
