Abstract
Social economics and social companies represent alterative or complementary possibilitties of the solving social (social exclusion), economic (unemployement) and enviromental problems and in line with the Strategic vision of regional development of the Czech Republic they contribute to the economic, social and culture enhancement of regions. The conception of the social economy has been accepted in many european countries and also in USA, in the Czech countries there is only searching how to take advantage of it.
