Diagnosis and treatment of invasive pulmonary aspergillosis- an update

Abstract

A rational approach in invasive pulmonary aspergillosis consists in the use of modern diagnostic tools ((BAL, galaktomannan, CT, exceptionally lung biopsy) and evidence based therapy with voriconazole as the first choice antifungal, and ABLC and new triazole posaconazole as the second choice.
