Abstract

Multiple sclerosis (abbriviated MS) is an autoimmune disease of the central nerve system (CNS), in which the body´s immune system attacks myelin, a key substance that serves as a nerve insulator and helps the transmition of the nerve signals. There is no known cure (treatment) for MS.

MS medications and drug application can slow the disease progression down as well as the dificulties connected with it.
