Fix dose combination in management of arterial hypertension – up to date

Abstract

The use of combination of two antihypertensive drugs at fixed doses in a single tablet reduce the number of pills that have to be taken daily has been shown to improve compliance, which is low in hypertension. Use of fixed dose combinations of two drugs can directly follow initial monotherapy when addition of a second drug is required to control BP.
