Immunopathological features and complications of infectious diseases

Abstract

This chapter, which is part of the textbook of infectious diseases, describes diseases that develop as results of immunopathological reaction to infectious agents. The chapter includes description of pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnostics and therapy of different nosological units.
