Comprehensive assessment of elderly in long-term care institutions

Abstract

The aim of this study was to assess the health status of elderly patients admitted to long-term care institutions, focusing on their functional ability and mental health. Comprehensive geriatric assessment in a minimized standardized form (interRAI LTCF) is a method designed especially for practical use; it can also be used for research studies.
