Use of multimodal systems for preparing pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment and diagnosis of tumor diseases
Abstract
In the present invention, there is disclosed the use of a multimodal system for preparing pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment and diagnosis of tumor diseases, comprising cyclodextrin substituted with an oligopyrrole macrocycle (porphyrin, calixphyrin or corin) in the form of an inclusion complex with a medicament being selected from the group consisting of doxorubicin, taxol, mitomycin C, paraplatin, zitostop, zitazonium, methotrexate, ieukeran, ftorafur, BiCNU, deticene or another medicament containing an aromatic group. The invented multimodal system can further comprise a metal complex of an oligopyrrole macrocycle to which mono- or polyclonal antibody is attached as an axial ligand.
