Abstract
Deep vein thrombosis and its consequences are the most frequent cause of morbidity and mortality in operated patients, in whom the risk factors for its onse are accumulated. Prophylaxis is a fundamental element of the whole strategy of all active measures in pevention of thrombombolic complications.
