Proximal femur bone density of the great moravian population from mikulčice evaluated by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry

Abstract

Osteoporosis is the most frequent and serious bone metabolic disease in our population. BMD values of the Great Moravian population were higher both in males and females compared to our population.
