Guidelines for laboratory diagnosis of thyroid functional diseses

Abstract

The aim of the recommendation is establishing the guidelines for optimal laboratory examination in the course of diagnosis and treatment of functional and autoimmune thyroid gland disorders. At the same time the possibility of different lab tests results due to nonthyreoidical reasons is shown.

The recommendation applies to the most frequently laboratory methods used in thyrology.
