Abstract
Functional gastrointestinal disorders - dyspepsia means indigestion, or is a polymorphic file complaints originating from the gastrointestinal tract, often depending on the ingested food. Treatment of functional disorders is almost always a long, difficult and might not produce the desired success.
Prognosis of functional disorders is favorable in terms of mortality and serious complications, but uncertain in terms of quality of life, particularly in those patients where problems persist for several years and which no treatment brings relief.
