Abstract

Kidney diseases rank among the frequent causes of secondary hypertension. Renal parenchymatous hypertension accompanied both bilateral or unilateral kidney injury prevails on renovascular hypertension.

Renal hypertension prevalence and severity are influenced by the age, weight, cause of kidney disease and range of kidney function impairment. The most important pathogenetic factors are the sodium and water retention along with disturbed balance of vasoactive mediators action.
