Abstract

The task of each state should be its readiness to deal with emergencies, including securing health care for the population. The most serious situation is a threat of chemical, biological, toxic, radiological and nuclear agents.

It is irrelevant whether the result is of a terrorist attack, natural disaster or industrial accident. Our expert analysis has shown that the vast majority of medical facilities in the Czech Republic are not prepared in terms of both personnel and material security.

That situation should be urgently solved.
