Abstract

The subject of this work is to find suitable parameters for the severity assessment of children with developmental dysphasia. The standard voice parameters (fundamental frequency, formants, jiter and shimmer for vowels), different temporal characteristics of speech (number of pause, the length of utterances, length of consonants and vowels, speech rate and rhythm), spectral moments of sibilants and speech intelligibility in the form of a cumulative sum using method of dynamic time warping were thoroughly analyzed for healthy and diseased children.
