Abstract
Trypanosomiases are parasitic infections that rank among neglected tropical diseases. This chapter summarizes current knowledge on etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnosis and treatment of sleeping sickness, the African trypanosomiasis, and Chagas disease, the American trypanosomiasis.
