Abstract
This study illustrates the utility of a pharmacometabolomic approach to understand fenofibrate effects on lipid metabolism in both human populations and in inbred mouse models The urinary metabolomic profile of PPAR (peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha) may be useful biomarker of induced fatty acid beta-oxidation.
