Abstract
The monograph describes the most frequent poisonings consulted at the Toxicological Information Centre in the Czech Republic. At the beginning the statistical overview of intoxications is given, with the proportion on acute inquiries due to different agents.
The symptoms, findings and the treatment of poisonings is given for the pharmaceutics, illegal drugs, household and industrial chemicals, food, mushrooms, herbage and animals. The overview of antidotes for poisonings, available in the country is attached.
