Abstract
This book provides a new integrative approach to understanding psychopathological states-approach that encompasses cognition, emotion, behavior and the interaction between innate dispositions and environment. For this approach is the central link psychiatric model with human evolution.
The book presents a summary of the evolution of the human brain in terms of morphology and function, and how it relates to our current understanding of psychopathology.
