Abstract
The incidence of malignant melanoma is increasing in the Czech Republic. This is due to increased exposure of UV rays under the skin type and degree of tan, especially in children and adolescents.
Risk is staying on the sun, even when the skin is protected by sunscreen with a high UV factor. Sunscreen allows a longer stay in the sun but also affects the skin and cause changes of its immunity.
Our research has shown that this disease still depends also on other factors.
