Development of a Non-Invasive Diagnostic Method for Bronchial Asthma

Abstract

A method was developed for rapid and accurate determination of cysteinylleukotrienes (LTC4, LTD4, LTE4 essential biomarkers of bronchial asthma, in exhaled breath condensate. The method was tested on patients with occupational bronchial asthma and compared with healthy subjects.

The differences between the two groups were significant.
