At the symposium, 40 state-of-the-art lectures on various aspects of renal physiology, pathology and functional imaging were presented together with 22 free communications (scientific posters), 3 panel discussions, 1 workshop, and 2 read-with-the expert interactive sessions. The program of the symposium has been divided into 4 parts—(1) radionuclide methods in pediatric nephrourology, (2) radionuclide methods in clinical and experimental nephrourology, (3) radiologic imaging of renal structure and function, and (4) quantitative analysis and reporting on renal scintigraphy.
