Abstract
The Secretary of the Guild of the Gravediggers publication talks about burial and cemeteries, unique book, the first of its kind not only here but throughout Europe, is the topic of burying a comprehensive range of lighting. Under the leadership of editor Jaroslav Šejvl met more than twenty-author team of leading experts from different fields.
The book is conceived through the lens of burial of medical science, anthropology and religious studies. But there are also chapters on garden architecture and stonework.
Jaroslav Šejvl wanted the book had a high professional level, but also in order to appraise the general public. The book has nearly 500 pages and contains 14 chapters.
In the Czech Republic, these publications constitute the first step was to separate from us was the administrator for apprenticeship burial - that of gravediggers. Because this is the first professional publication of its kind, is conceived very complex.
