Abstract
The publication gives a comprehensive view on the management of public cemeteries in the Czech republic with an emphasis on current legislation. It deals with the history of burial, religionistickými specifics of each religion in a funeral rite, health issues, risks of infection, decaying matter and the state of the exhumation of human remains, including the current issue of complete exhumation (see chapter osteological).
Also presents proposals and options for communication with the rest of the staff of cemeteries, work safety, the specifics of individual "funeral" activities, modifying cemeteries and graves, the cemetery management, responsibilities of public administration at the village cemetery and the care of war graves.
