Pathogenesis of type 1 and type 2 diabetes in 2011 – the unifying model of glycoregulation disorder

Abstract

New discoveries allow to demonstrate that both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes have common pathways leading to B-cell apoptosis although the initial inducers are different.
