The work is dealing with an art of Julius Mařák, leading Czech landscape painter of the second half of the 19th century, following those of his paintings which?s theme is the interior of the wood. Author makes also the other analyses in connection with this Mařák?s theme: contemporary reflections of mood concept, the soul and the landscape, the supreme work of art
