Abstract
This article is the first section of the study dealing with the problematics of three immoral offence - adultery, incest and bigamy - in early modern period. It is made up of a general introduction into the issues of immoral offences, a presentation of studied sources, and a comprehensive analysis of the first of the three aforementioned offences - adultery.
This offence is analyzed based on the study of early modern legislative texts and court books in Bohemia and Moravia in the period between the 16th and 18th centuries.
