Abstract
The author defines new rules for the provision of health services in the Czech Republic. The author also deals with the development of the relationship between doctor and patient and related changing the hierarchy of values in health care.
Primate protection life and health was replaced by the primacy of patient autonomy. Provide health care on the basis of informed consent is a fundamental duty of every health care professional.
