Ovarian cancer prediction in adnexal masses using ultrasound-based logistic regression models: a temporal and external validation study by the IOTA group

Abstract

The study was prospectively tested in two logistic regression models in the precision of the risk of malignant ovarian tumors and compared with the precision of an experienced sonographer in the diagnosis of malignant ovarian tumors. Due to the high accuracy of both models can be potentially used in clinical practice.
