Abstract

Prolonged cardiopulmonary resuscitation was made possible by using mechanical chest compression devices. The rate of complication is similar between manual and mechanical chest compression techniques.

We describe a case of “traumatic” epicardial artery occlusion mimicking acute myocardial infarction in a patient after prolonged cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
