Abstract

A speech intelligibility of speech can be provided by a presenting of testing material in a sentence form with an additive noise. We developed a new test in Czech language, where the babble noise is used as an additive noise.

This contribution presents details of different groups of patients with hearing impairment: a) patients without hearing aid, b) patients with one hearing aid, c) patients with binaural compensation. The patients are divided by hearing impairment: normal hearing, mild, moderate, severe hearing impairment.

This report shows our preliminary results. In the future a number of patients must be enlarged.
