Abstract

Rheumatic diseases are still one of the most common causes of chronic pain, disability, impaired quality of life, short-and long-term disability and partial or full disability. In the book, readers will recall the basics of anatomy of the peripheral joints and spine, the basics of biomechanics of joints, learn about the possible operating procedures in patients with rheumatic disease.

The aim of the book is to provide guidance to physiotherapy practice in the preoperative preparation of patients, intraoperative and early postoperative stage, not least with the procedures in the subsequent (late) phase of rehabilitation. The authors also tried to look after the sick revmatochirurgických performance in the so-called "comprehensive rehabilitation" and the International Classification of the Functions, Disability and Health.
