Abstract
Chapter disccusss treatment of high blood pressure in diabetes mellitus. The basis for the therapy is the initiation of nonpharmacological measures, e.g. lowering of body weight in obese individuals.
Pharmacological therapy is based on ACE-inhibitors, event. plus calcium channel blokcers, in more resistant cases + low dose diuretics.
