Management of common gastrointestinal diseases in primary care in Poland and Central Eastern European countries

Abstract

The aim of this study was to assess the differences in the management of common gastrointestinal disorders of general practitioners in Poland and other Central Eastern European countries. There was a significant difference detected in the availability of specific diagnostic methods and in referral behaviour.
