Secondary healing of defects in intestinal stoma

Abstract

Extensive defects can be healed by using vacuum therapy and moist wound healing. This resources isolate ostomy excrements, which could endanger proper healing of surgical wounds.

We present a description of wound healing process in severely ill 66-years old woman.
