Abstract
In July 2011, a new List of Occupational Diseases came in force in the Czech Republic. In comparison with the previous list, the new Czech list contains 6 additional items.
In connection with adoption of the new list, possibility of its amendment every two years came up as well. Within the international project MODERNET, new pieces of knowledge can be gained.
It would be possible to motivate primary care physicians to report suspected work-related diseases including those not listed as yet using a questionare on the website of the Society of occupational Medicine of the Czech Medical Associacion.
