Abstract
Carbohydrate metabolism disorders can arise due to congenital defect of carbohydrate metabolism - enzymopathies (glycogenosis, galactosemia, mucopolysaccharidoses) and reflected in the first years of life. These disorders are rare and their diagnosis is concentrated in selected centers, where it is provided by specialized biochemical and molecular biological diagnosis.
