The use of diagnoses related to tabacco use in the Czech Republic

Abstract

We watched diagnosis F17, PO4.2, Z72.0, T65.2 between 2002-2011 in hospitalized patients in the country. Although smoking prevalence is around 30% of the population, the diagnosis F 17 was mentioned only in 1.5% of hospitalized patients, other diagnoses practically not at all.
