Abstract

Huge crater-like defects with sclerotic borders on skull vaults of a skull from Giza (Egypt, Late Period) and a skull from Prostějov (Czechia) were investigated makroskopically, radiologically and microscopically. By analysis of morphological features of the patological changes was in both cases diagnosed benign tumour hemangioma.
