Abstract

Phoniatrics is defined as the branch of medicine that deals with the physiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of communication process in humans. Communication disorders - disorders of speech, hearing and voice - have far-reaching social importance.

It is often uncomfortably long illness affecting the psyche of the patient and his surroundings. Usually it requires a long-term comprehensive educational therapy or reeducation.

The proposed e-learning atlas is designed to complement the script "Phoniatrics" (authors Dlouhá, Černý), which was published in 2012. Medical students have the concrete idea of voice disorders.
