Abstract
Torsion of testis is considered to be an urological emergency. It causes obstruction of blood flow with necrosis of the entire gonad.
Prognosis of torsion is good, if the patient is operated within 4-5 hours after twisting of testicle. That´s why early diagnosis and propper treatment is so important.
