Which findings may predict resectability of the patients with lung cancer?

Abstract

In a prospective study on 429 consecutive LC patients were checked the frequency of symptoms in the time of diagnosis. It was: cough 69%, dyspnoe 54%, loss of weight 49%, expectoration 38%, pain on the chest 36%, hemoptysis 17,7%, temperature 16%, vena cava superior syndrome 3,7%.

Surgical therapy underwent 75 pts, it is 17,5% of the whole set.
