Application of the so-called miniimplants (sometimes mini-implants or mini implants) is a fast growing pre-prosthetic method. It grows as the number of dentists who use the miniimplants, the number of treated patients and also we see increasing diversity of systems on the market.
A peer-reviewed literature on miniimplants is less rich, which stands out especially in comparison with a lot of work on conventional implants. The authors have with this technology more than a decade of personal experience.
The goal is to summarize some key findings on the issue.
