Czech Version of the Voice Handicap Index Questionnaire for Quantitative Evaluation of Voice Problems Perceived by Patients

Abstract
Subjectively percieved changes of voice are the basic impuls for commencing the treatment. Possibility of quantification of patients voice disorders is of utmost importance because it can be used as a feedback for evaluation of treatment efficacy.
Voice Handicap Index (VHI) is one of the basic instruments used. Effort to provide a Czech version of VHI lead to different translations of the instrument, no unified Czech is available yet.
This study provides a synthesis of three of them and the final unified Czech version is published.
