Abstract
The publication gives an overview of the current status of the issue of contraception, discusses natural methods of family planning, barrier methods, spermicides, IUD, levonorgestrel intrauterine system, pure and gestagen combined hormonal contraception and sterilization. Special chapters are devoted to the use of contraception in adolescent, perimenopausal women and women with internal threats.
