Src family tyrosine kinases (SFKs) play important roles in cell morphology, motility, differentiation, proliferation, transformation as well as embryonic development of vertebrates. Changes in gene expression are a key mechanism in embryo development.
In this study we determined, on X. leavis embryos, spatial and temporal expression patterns of six members of this family during embryogenesis, using RT-qPCR and whole-mount in situ hybridization techniques.
