A relationship between serum and cerebrospinal fluid autoantibodies against light and medium subunit of neurofilaments and tubulin were studied in the groups of patients with selected neurological diseases (multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative diseases with predominance of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and controls. Levels of anti-neurocytoskeletal antibodies were related to each other in cerebrospinal fluid in all groups, whereas close association of serum antibodies was characterised only for the group of multiple sclerosis patients.
